For applications that require a more powerful and feature-rich switch, Hirschmann
offers its PowerMICE modular switches. Similar in functionality and features to the
MS30-16, the PowerMICE adds two additional Gigabit ports (for a total of four) and an
option to have Layer 3 routing capabilities. MICE Media modules sold separately.

MICE media modules are hot-swappable and may be used
with the PowerMICE switch
to obtain desired port density. The only restriction is the number of slots that the
PowerMICE has (one media module per slot). MICE media modules come a variety of
configurations including: copper, fiber (SFP), multimode, single-mode, Gigabit,
and real-time.
